Symposium on Development and Applications of Immersed Boundary Methods

Direction

The symposium seeks recent contributions to: a) algorithm development in boundary force construction and interpolation schemes, adaptive mesh refinement, immersed boundary algorithms to include turbulent and compressible flow simulation, and multi-medium interface condition treatment (such as those for free surfaces and bubbles/droplets); b) using immersed boundary methods to simulate a wide variety of fluid flow applications with moving or morphing bodies, boundaries and particulates. Authors and presenters are invited to participate in this event to expand international cooperation, understanding and promotion of efforts and disciplines in using immersed boundary methods.
