Preface

91th JSME Fluids Engineering Conference was held from 9 to 10, Nov., 2013 at Ito Campus of Kyushu University. The conference has one keynote, more than 12 organized sessions and general sessions. And the dream of the flow contest was held. The various works were exhibited to obtain the theme “The change by the flow, Something is change. What do you change?”

This issue of the newsletter is “JSME Fluids Engineering Conference”. The speaker of the keynote lecture, JSME young researcher best presentation fellow award and fluid engineering conference best presentation award provide articles. Furthermore, the teams of first prize and ichiki award were reported about the work. The articles are informative for engineers and researchers in our field and stimulate the activities of the fluids engineering division in the future.

Finally, we would like to thank all the authors for their contributions.

Motohiro Oshima, Yusuke Takahashi, Hiroyuki Yoshikawa
